Head Coach & Director of Forensics
Julie Sheinman
Ms. Sheinman founded the Stuyvesant Speech & Debate team and has directed the program for over 35 years. During her tenure, she has coached many local, state, and national championship teams and individuals. Ms. Sheinman has been inducted into the NSDA Coaches' Hall of Fame and is a member of the Key Coach Society of the Barkeley Forum of Emory University.
Extemp Coach & Assistant Director
K.M. DiColandrea (DiCo)
From 1999-2003, DiCo competed on the Stuyvesant Extemp team, later on becoming its captain. After graduating from Yale with a B.A. in Philosophy, he went on to found the Brooklyn Debate League, bringing speech and debate to kids across the city.
